magicJack Plus sounds almost as good as a landline

Neil – What a great deal! I just received my MagicJack Plus. It took about an hour to connect the cables correctly and switch my account from the old MagicJack to the MagicJack Plus. Talked for 20 minutes on it and it sounds almost as good as a landline. You can’t beat the price, quality and portability. Good job, MagicJack!!

    “Cindy” Yes 911 is compatable with magicJack as they will see your number and know where you are calling from just like magicJack 1

    “Rick” Unfortunally you cant.. I called to find this out and they said I can have the number on both units, but they are and always will be “Separate subscriptions” hence why I got mine for half off because I own the original MJ and they cannot transfer the time… However I do get a year with it and will have 2 lines :) Confusing to me (soon will find out) if its better to just make a new number so I have 2 lines and 2 numbers, or have the 1 number tied to both jacks so both are independant on outgoing, but ring the same time with the main number…

    “Roger” I will test soon as it comes.. I hope so because I need faxing for my diabetic 3 yr old and will have to get my landline if it isnt possible

    “Claude” the number can be ported over from existing landline for 19.95 plus an additional 9.99 a year added to the original cost/.. hence somewhere around 29.00 to keep your number a year with service

    I currently have a MJ (FL area code) that call-forwards to my home phone (NY area code with Vonage). Can I port my home phone with the NY area code to a MJ+ and have my regular MJ with the FL area code still call forward to the NY area code MJ+?
