- ~ Phone quality is perfect just like a normal phone
"George Jacob - Just got my MJ Plus today and I installed the system with no problem. I am using it without a PC. The phone quality is perfect just like a normal phone which I hope to replace with this new little guy. The only thing wrong is no New-Brunswick number yet. I had to get a Nova-Scotia number temporarily I hope. I bought the original one in Florida which is saving me a fortune in long distance and got a Florida number with ease. I hope my New-Brunswick number come soon! Thanks"

Plug your fax machine into the jack. I took my fax card from my cpu and ran the cord to the magic jack and used it. You may need to add the special code to dial dtmf. I forget the code.

I send several faxes daily on my land line. How would the magic jack handle this?
I’m not concerned about incoming faxes as I use a toll free fax service so all my incoming faxes show up in my email as a .pdf but the ability to fax out is a must.

For those asking how to use multiple phone with MagicJack or MagicJack Plus:
Just run the phone cable from the output side of your Magic Jack to any convenient phone wall jack in your house. All other wall jacks will be able to have a phone plugged into them and all will work as an extension, just like regular phone service.

I have a stand-alone fax machine that is on its own (custom-ring) phone number. If I buy MJ+, how can I configure things to send and receive faxes?
I’m assuming, as one to whom this whole MJ+ thing is not even part of my life yet, that if I want to use MJ+ on the road I should buy a separate one so that those at home can have access to VoIP?

I presently am using the original Magic Jack which is paid through March 2014. Can I transfer this paid service to Magic Jack Plus?
