Jan – I am from canada, all i have to say is that the magic jack and the magic jack plus are both amazing devices, and would recommend them to anyone. I have used the magicjack for 3 years, and its fantastic. Now i have the magicjack plus. The call quaility is very good, easy to register, easy to use, surpised at reading all the complaints regarding customer service, I found customer service great, and 100% helpful. I am verry happy with their service, and the savings on my long distance calls.

Daniel – If MJ+ is a scam, it’s probably the first scam in History that actually benefits people. As far as I can tell, my MJ+ works as advertised, and doesn’t cost a dime more than advertised. To me, this is infinitely better than any money-grabbing Canadian phone company I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

Seriously, I get everything I need in a home phone for the price of a single evening meal in a restaurant– *once* per year!

Now, if this is really a scam, go right ahead and scam me some more…

Saved my company upwards of $1,500

Jim – Started a business with the original MJ in 2009 and used it for my business phone. It worked great and probably saved my company upwards of $1,500. Have upgraded to MJ+ for my business line and also added one for my home number. My wife uses the phone a lot and has nothing but praise for it (she was very skeptical). You need a high-speed (DSL, Cable) connection as it will not work on a dial-up line. Using it on a dial-up line would be stupid anyway. Isn’t the idea to tell the phone company to take a hike? Only issue is they can only transfer some numbers, not all. Not thrilled about having to change my number with everyone, but for $20 a year, I can deal with it.

Ron Robertson – I have been using the original Magic Jack for 3 years and really think it is great. It’s nice being able to stick it to Bell Canada for their long distance charges. I have ordered the magicjack Plus and am looking forward to using it soon. I have heard that trying to “port” my existing Toronto # may not be possible to the magic jack plus? This may be a Canadian CRTC legal deal but I will try it out. Thanks for a great product!

Anonymous – I was skeptical with MagicJack Plus but I said the heck with it anyway… let me just try it out so I bought myself one for $69.95. Now just so you know, I have an active digital phone through Time Warner Cable connected in my home office already. Ladies and Gentlemen, let me be the one to tell you that MagicJack Plus is AMAZING! I used it all day for business calls and the communication delivery was cyrstal clear. No call drops, no background static, and the service performance is just like my Time Warner digital phone. So with this being said, I have to warn Time Warner Cable, Vonage, Cox Digital Phone, and any other MagicJack competitors – this device is fantastic so you might as well discontinue offering your digital phone package b/c MagicJack PLUS is taking over. Thank you for saving me money, MagicJack PLUS. May God bless you!

Phone quality is perfect just like a normal phone

George Jacob – Just got my MJ Plus today and I installed the system with no problem. I am using the MJ Plus without a PC. The phone quality is perfect just like a normal phone which I hope to replace with the MJ Plus. The only thing wrong is no New-Brunswick number yet. I had to get a Nova-Scotia number temporarily I hope. This is my second MJ. I bought the original MJ in Florida which is saving me a fortune in long distance and got a Florida number with ease. I hope my New-Brunswick number come soon! Thanks MJ.

Todd Joseph – I HAVE BEEN A MAGICJACK CUSTOMER FOR 3 YEARS. TODAY I BOUGHT THE MAGICJACK PLUS. THIS THING IS INCREDIBLE. I INSTANTANEOUSLY TRANSFERRED MY OLD MJ PHONE#. EVEN THOUGH I HAD 3 YEARS OF SERVICE LEFT ON THE OLD MJ,(WHICH YOU LOSE WENT GETTING THE NEW MJ) IT WAS WELL WORTH THE COST!!!! MY CALLS HAVE ALWAYS HAD GOOD QUALITY SOUND…… BUT THIS NEW UNIT IS OFF THE CHARTS AS CONFIRMED BY THOSE THAT I CALL.

Leo Fisher – We love it! The call quality is better than our old regular phone. It was a snap to install. I didn’t want to pay the little extra to bring our old phone number across but in retrospect, probably should have done it. The only negative I’ve come across this far is that when dialing a local number, you have to dial 1-XXX-XXX-XXXX the area code not just the number. A small price to pay. I highly recommend the magicjack plus!

Neil – What a great deal! I just received my MagicJack Plus. It took about an hour to connect the cables correctly and switch my account from the old MagicJack to the MagicJack Plus. Talked for 20 minutes on it and it sounds almost as good as a landline. You can’t beat the price, quality and portability. Good job, MagicJack!!

MagicJack: A Soldiers dream come true

Chris - I am a Soldier in the US Army deployed to Iraq. When I first came out I was without a MagicJack, never heard of it. I had problems after problems communicating with my wife back in the States, AT&T too expensive right along with other offered connections to the US. I’ve tried the Military Moral calls and that was a 50/50 shot getting connected and when you finally were connected, no notice dropped calls 5, 10 minutes into it. Not a good feeling at all trust me. Long story short…There’s this old saying in the Army, “The Army pays you $100 and take back $99″. I returned home on my R&R trip and heard about the MagicJack and what it could do. Purchased it from Radio Shack bought a cheap hand held phone, returned back to Iraq, hooked it up to my computer and have enjoyed hours of conversations with my wife, family and friends, for no more than $89 (the 5 year package), no monthly payments. I will tell you, I have saved more than a Dollar this time around investing in the MagicJack. Thank you MagicJack!
